#StayAtHome & discover the queer culture! In view of the difficult times in which we have to limit social contact, our free time is restricted to our four walls! That’s why we want to show you tips for articles, portraits, interviews or documentaries in the coming days and weeks! Here you can find a list of all the recent posts!

Since 2008, Lesbian Visibility Day has been celebrated every year to give all those women in our community more voice and visibility and offers lesbian role models a platform to voice their opinions on the problems of female sexual minorities.

Lesbian role models

Exactly 10 years after the first celebration (in 2018), Ruth Hunt, the CEO of Stonewall Charity UK gave her insights on how things have changed in the last few decades. Identifying as a lesbian wans’t easy at the time, but even today, prejudges and hateful comments still haunt many individuals. Though more prevalent on social media and other channels, the diversity of lesbian individuals isn’t present and meeting places have disappeared completely. We need to reach out to one another and make everyone feel proud to be part of our community.

„A Secret Love“ – a new Netflix Documentary

Make sure you also watch the newest documentary on Netflix called „A secret Love“ about how two sweet and strong women are a couple for over 65 years, but had to hide their lives to the outside world. 
Netflix’s upcoming documentary, A Secret Love, tells the story of the couple, who came out to their families at age 80 after being together for over 65 years. In a trailer released today, Netflix gives a preview at how the women met, the ways they kept their love hidden and how their family reacted to their relationship.
